Does it use different keyboard shortcuts than the system? Shift+F6 to rename instead of Enter.

I’m curious what the design decisions were, as my first thought is that it would make it difficult to go transition from, or work in parallel with, Finder. I assume some Finder conventions would still be required, even if it’s just for Open and Save dialogs.

I did find Enter to be an odd choice for rename in Finder when I first moved to OS X, but I’m a big fan of consistency.

By default, Enter chooses the selected thing and Shift+F6 renames. It's designed for easy keybinding customization, though: https://marta.sh/docs/configuration/hotkeys/
