How (and why) we brought SQLite to the Cloud (sqlitecloud.io)

I hate that I cannot interface database-servers directly anymore, because everything needs a damn webservice to be usable in a cloud world. But quickly hacking something together just introduces new problems, not even speaking of sync issues.

So this seems quite compelling and probably makes sense for a lot of applications. Best of luck with your service.

The webservice for SQLite Cloud is a convenient way to access your cluster, but you can directly interface with any SQLite Cloud node anytime! We have several SDKs available to talk directly with the core service. More at https://docs.sqlitecloud.io/docs/sdk

The post says:

How exactly is Dr. Richard Hipp involved in this?

Is it a similar job to https://turso.tech/
