Yes! From the interesting answers I think "scroogling" was used as a synonym for "screwing" or "gaslighting". I've never seen it used outside of the Microsoft ad campaign, so it's interesting to see it in the wild.

I think it was a typo for scrooging which is a common enough word for being cheap(USA) / tight (uk).
